General Statement of Duties & Responsibilities

The Idaho Veterans Research and Education Foundation (IVREF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation at the Boise VA Medical Center which administers research and education projects funded by foundations, industry and federal agencies. The Administrative Specialist is responsible for managing the Human Resources, Acquisitions and Payroll processes for the nonprofit. The Administrative Specialist provides support during the pre-award application process and assists administratively in accomplishing the goals of the nonprofit.

IDAHO VETERANS RESEARCH AND EDUCATION FOUNDATION CONFLICT OF INTEREST POLICY

INTRODUCTION

This policy governing financial conflict of interest applies to all Investigators with research funding administered by the Idaho Veterans Research and Education Foundation (IVREF, also “the Institution”). The IVREF Institutional Official is responsible for ensuring implementation of this policy and may suspend all relevant activities until the financial conflict of interest is resolved or other action deemed appropriate by the Institutional official is implemented. Violation of any part of these policies may also constitute cause for disciplinary or other administrative action pursuant to Institutional policy. This policy shall be available to the public via the Institution’s web site and updated as necessary to comply with IVREF regulations and policies, including those required for compliance with PHS agency regulations.
